Daytona USA 2 (Revision A)

Arcade 1998 Sega Driving Race (chase view)
The wild and hot run is back. 16 people can run together. Not only the body of the machine and the road surface, but also smoke and the flames for the crash scenes are reproduced beautifully. The game also uses the real engines' sounds from the real cars.

WIP:
- 0.143u6: Added driveboard rom epr-20985.bin.
- 0.141u2: Aaron Giles fixed banking in Daytona USA 2 by adding a second aperture to CROM at 0xc3000000. A couple of CROMs checksum as bad, but most come out good.
- 0.141u1: Guru redumped Daytona USA 2 (Revision A) CROMs.
- 0.126: Changed description to 'Daytona USA 2 (Revision A)'.
- 0.96u1: Replaced 8-way Joystick with Paddle and 8 buttons.
- 3rd April 2005: Ville Linde - The good news is I figured out why the textures are not working in Daytona 2. The bad news is that there's not really a way to fix it. Turns out that the security board is used to decrypt a piece of code that sets up a table. This table contains all the information needed by the game to upload the textures to the 3D hardware.
- 19th March 2005: Ville Linde - Finally got Daytona USA 2: Battle on the Edge running in MAME. Supposedly some of the roms are bad, which might explain why it's not working good enough yet. The 3D is working, but is in wireframe at the moment because the game doesn't send any textures to the 3D hardware.
- 0.90u2: Changed PPC603 CPU1 clock speed to 166MHz. Added 8-way Joystick, 4x buttons and 2nd coin slot.
- 0.89u3: R. Belmont added Daytona USA 2 (Sega 1998).
